Currently Nova is only available for US, EU, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. We hope to expand on this after launch.

Although a subscription is advised to get the most out of your experience, Nova features a core set of light sequences which, alongside the select free introductory app sessions, will always be free to access without a Lumenate app premium subscription. Beyond this, our ongoing subscription for premium content allows us to continue to expand our world-class library while keeping device prices as accessible as possible.

Nova is not suitable for everyone, especially those with photosensitive conditions such as photosensitive epilepsy. To check if Nova is suitable for you, please check the safety warnings that are presented when you tap "Add to Basket".

I genuinely cannot over express how remarkable this is. Am ADHD and autistic and have been meditating for about 4 years now. While meditation has been helpful, it has been hard for me to get into a pure state of presence. I tend to get stressed out trying to meditation when I can't "drop in" because of my overactive mind. Since I've received the Nova on Kickstarter, I have been able to be completely present and aware in the colors and sounds. I feel like it's a deeper form of meditation, where I come away from every session with new groundbreaking insights. I've teared up on a few sessions with the sheer sense of peace, relaxation, and deep understanding. I love that I can control the brightness of the lights, as my sensory needs change day-to-day and I can be quite sensitive to light. Whether your someone who is trying to gain new perspectives and deepen meditation, or a neurodivergent person looking for self-regulation. This could be a really helpful tool. This has been a gamechanger for me! Thanks Lumenate :)

I bought this during the quickstarter campaign and had high hopes. While it does what it's supposed to , it isn't quite what I expected. For me the LED isn't large enough to fully immerse my eyes in the light. In addition, It leaks quite a bit of light and bothers my wife at night when she's trying to sleep. In order to mitigate some of the light leakage I have to strap it down really tight which makes it very uncomfortable. I was hoping for better, but it does work.

    I’ve struggled to switch off. I’ve tried tonnes of meditations apps, but they’re all the same, I get distracted. With Nova, my problem is solved. I’m finally able to empty my mind and think of nothing. I just look at all the different patterns Nova produces in my brain. It’s fantastic.

    It’s fun. If you grew up in the 1980’s, we’d do something similar with a flashlight, or by rubbing our eyes really hard. It’s like that. Only now you pay for it

    Finally received my Nova, ordered on Kickstarter in may 2025, supposed to be delivered by september/october 2025, but had to wait till january/february 2026. No big deal, I can’t imagine all the hassles and technical issues you’ve been through launching your company.

    Just hooked my Nova to my phone, launched the introduction session, and damn this thing seems promising. I dig a little bit through the app and and I start to realize something really unpleasant… WAS I DUPED BY BEEING ONE OF THE FIRST BUYERS WHO HELPED LAUNCH YOUR COMPANY, ONLY TO END UP HAVING TO PAY A MONTHLY/ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION TO USE THE NOVA I PURCHASED ?!

    I’m sooo disapointed. Nothing on your Kickstarter page stated that beeing one of the first Nova’s customer will end up having ONLY 4 FREE SESSIONS. Treating that way early customers who helped you launching your business… it’s a shame.

    Just for everyone knows what you purposely didn’t make clear in the first place, when you says “Nova features a core set of light sequences “, everyone should undestand that buying a Nova 109/150€ (which, frankly, how much does it costs you to produce ? Let me laugh…) will only get you 4 FREE SET OF LIGHTS SEQUENCES ! 4 !!! THAT’S A JOKE, RIGHT ?! I’m sure I’m not the only one getting shocked by this.

    Just writing that down, for all your potential customers to know that PAYING 109/150€ YOUR NOVA WILL ONLY GET YOU 4 LIGHTS SEQUENCES, THAT’S IT !!!

    I have been using the Lumenate app for one month now and added the Nova device to my routine this Wednesday. I am genuinely impressed by the impact it has on my mental state — even a brief five‑minute session during the day creates a noticeable shift. In the evening, using the Nova before going to sleep has become an ideal way to wind down and transition into a more relaxed mindset.
    I would like to address two questions to Jay and the Lumenate team:

    Is there a referral or “recommend-a-friend” program available?
    Are you considering offering a lifetime subscription option within the app in the future?

    Additionally, I would like to share two suggestions that could further enhance the overall user experience:

    A lock‑screen mode to help conserve battery life, which would also be particularly beneficial when using the device on flights.
    Preventing sessions from being interrupted by low‑battery alerts at 20% or 10%, as these currently disrupt the flow.

    Overall, the combination of the app and the Nova has exceeded my expectations. Excellent work — and I’m excited to see how the product continues to evolve.
